The Royal Phuket Marina was like a home away from home in Phuket. Literally, because it’s an extended stay experience with a minimum of one month stay at its properties. (Get around this time minimum by booking through Air Bnb.) Located on the east coast of Phuket, the Royal Phuket Marina is right on the waters, that gives me the same feeling as a town center. There’s a square, restaurants, bars, and a great kid’s club, and it’s all a couple hours of sailing away to the beautiful beach areas of Krabi, Phang Nga Bay, Koh Phi Phi, and the Similan Islands. All properties have waterfront views that are great for families to settle in, working professionals, and long stay visitors. Condos are available from two to four bedrooms that are all equipped with outdoor spaces and pool access. Each villa has its own dock so you can walk from your backyard to the boat. The Royal Phuket Marina also houses the largest gym and fitness facility in Phuket! Residency at the Royal Phuket Marina is not required to use the facilities – memberships are available for access to everything you need to stay fit. There is yoga, pilates, group classes, personal training, spin classes, changing rooms, and a tennis court, free for guests at the Royal Phuket Marina.
The beauty of staying here is the ability to customize your experience however you like. In fact, if you’re visiting Phuket and staying elsewhere, you can still arrange boat trips via the Royal Phuket Marina. During the month stay, you can have chefs, groceries, cars, transfers, and drivers upon request. Ask and you shall receive, which is extremely helpful during the thirty-day experience. Because Thailand is best experienced by boat, I highly recommend planning something to explore the islands, caves, and beautiful water. There’s a boat experience at every price point at the Marina, so everyone can enjoy boat life with group excursions and even luxury private boat trips.
