How about a wine tasting evening?

Whether you are into wine or not, it is always nice to learn something new. Wine is more than just a drink, it is an art, a wide spectrum of knowledge and science, becoming a sommelier is not an easy task. There are a few wine tasting programmes and courses available around, depending on what you are looking for and your aim, there is always one that suits you. Recently I had been invited to attend a wine tasting evening at Le Cordon Bleu in London. Come Dine With Me

Sharing is caring! In Asia, we are very used to the sharing concept. In the West, while people love gathering around for food, it is not that common to order sharing plates. When Market Hall comes into the scene, it slowly revolutionizes the food scene in London. What is very familiar to us- a food hall, is new to Londoners. Quintessentially British Afternoon tea under the Chandeliers

One of my favourite places in London, be it for breakfast meeting, taking visiting friends and family, a nightcap or a date night at the bar, Bernes Tavern in the London Edition has a special place in my heart. Inspired by the classic muted colours of Johannes Vermeer paintings and American artist Donald Judd, Berners Tavern has taupe coloured walls, dusty rose chairs, and a subtle play between modern and period detail. Two large custom bro...

Ok, it IS actually quite fun to play in the rain, but realistically speaking there aren’t many chances we can do that. Danish brand RAINS, specializing in raincoats might be a solution for you to really do that (I’ve tested it trust me). Based in Aarhus, Jutland, RAINS launched with just one product in 2012: a poncho. The sea...

A Cotswold hideout

This summer in Europe has been amazing. In England, it was one of the best in the past decade. Instead of fleeing to the normal summer islands for a bit of sun, I decided to stay in the country and hide in the countryside. Realizing I have never really explored the English countryside, I picked a place I’ve never been. Without a clue how it looks like and how to get there, I picked Ellenborough Park. My previous experience at Coworth Park gave me a very positive image of how beautiful and calming Cotswold is, so I knew it would be beautiful and peaceful.  After a little research and lots of questions, my friend and I arrived a...
