2011年2月17日，農曆正月廿六，為觀音菩薩大開倉庫之時。「觀音借庫」，又名「觀音開庫」，為中國一個源遠流長的民間習俗。
起源：
相傳大慈大悲觀世音菩薩於修道期間，有五百護法羅漢下凡，化身為和尚的造型，去考驗觀音菩薩之修行，他們到觀音廟化緣，討點飯菜，觀音菩薩使於農曆正月廿六大開倉庫，替五百「和尚」準備齋菜，而餘下的食物則留給其他到訪的善信。
步驟：
1. 準備觀音寶衣及香燭一份
2. 上香，並於壇前跪下誠心禱告，讀出以下預先填好的禱文，如下(歡迎善信列印)
3. 將觀音寶衣在香上順繞三圈，然後化寶
4. 若去年借了庫，就將「庫錢」及還庫壽金化回庫房
5. 到庫房中抽「庫錢」
6. 將「庫錢」放在銀包/手袋之內

注意事項：
對觀音借庫態度要正確，其中所得的額外錢財，不能用作享樂，例如買新電話、旅遊或者換車；反之所得金錢只能用於正途，例如開展生意或改善家人生活等。
